Our club is not organized to make money and will not spend our funds for developing a legally sound privacy statement. Instead, we will simply tell you what our attitude is if you have privacy concerns.
Our interest is in Volvos, not your personal information. We are not in business to make money and have no incentive to sell any information you may share with us.
If you send us email, we will probably keep your email address so we can reply to you. However, we will not give your email address to anyone else.
There will be situations where we have information which you may wish to know. For example, when the dates and locations of East Coast and West Coast National Meets are set, most of our members would like to learn about this.
We post many types of events on our web site. For some events - the big ones or those we learn about under short notice - we may also send out an email. If the event is sponsored by another organization, we will not send them your email address. Instead, we will send you an email with a link to their site. Then it is up to you to decide whether to contact them.
If you give us your phone number or address in any correspondence, we will not give it to anyone else.
If you would like us to take additional precautions with your information, then please explain them in your communication with us.
People who are really paranoid about privacy, may not believe this privacy statement. If that applies to you, then we cannot help you but you are invited to our events anyway.
